The NJ SEO Growth Method
One system that turns Google and AI visibility into qualified leads.
Understand what your buyers are trying to accomplish, get found and recommended where they look, earn the trust that makes you the recommendation, convert that attention into real conversations, and let results decide what gets funded next. Five stages, run as one program, judged on the clients you actually want.
01The five stages
Map, Capture, Influence, Convert, Compound.
This is the same methodology Teknicks, our parent company, runs for B2B companies — applied here to New Jersey professional services and the way their buyers search.
- Stage 01
Map
Understand what your buyers are trying to accomplish and where they search.
Buyer research, the searches and AI questions that signal real intent, competitor and sales intelligence — by service line, market and buying stage — so we work on the opportunities most likely to produce revenue.
- Buyer research and jobs-to-be-done interviews
- Search behavior and AI question analysis
- Competitor and sales-team intelligence
- Revenue-opportunity prioritization
- Stage 02
Capture
Build what buyers need to find when they are making a decision.
Service-line pages written for the buyer, technical and AI-answer foundations, and the comparison, category and industry content people actually read before they call.
- Buyer-facing service-line pages
- Technical SEO and AI-answer foundations
- Category, competitor and alternative content
- Industry, use-case and local pages
- Stage 03
Influence
Strengthen why Google, AI and buyers should trust the recommendation.
The reviews, publications, associations, directories and third-party sources that shape a decision — and that make it likelier an AI answer names your company instead of a directory.
- Review volume, recency and response
- Publication and editorial coverage
- Associations, communities and citations
- Entity consistency across third-party sources
- Stage 04
Convert
Turn discovery into the right next action.
Page design, messaging, proof and testing, plus an inquiry and follow-up path built for a considered purchase rather than an impulse one.
- Conversion and UX improvements
- Proof, pricing clarity and objection handling
- Testing and page-level experimentation
- Inquiry routing and follow-up speed
- Stage 05
Compound
Let real business results decide what happens next.
Every qualified inquiry traced back to its source, reported by service line and market, so investment moves toward the buyer journeys producing actual clients.
- Search-to-qualified-lead attribution
- Opportunity and revenue tracking
- Performance-driven reinvestment
- Continuous buyer-journey improvement
02What the work consists of
Seven areas, sequenced by what is actually holding the company back.
The order is decided in the first two weeks. A company with strong content and broken follow-up gets a very different first sprint than a company with excellent follow-up and no visibility.
Service-line architecture
Pages built around the services with real deal value, structured so the company's genuine standing in each is visible to a reader, to a search engine, and to a system assembling an answer.
Market and service-area targeting
Targeting mapped to the markets the company serves and staffs — county, regional, statewide or national — not a blanket sweep.
Technical foundation
Crawlability, internal linking, template structure, Core Web Vitals, and the schema that lets an engine understand what the company is.
Expert-reviewed content
Substantive pages and articles written to your positions, moved through a defined approval path that respects your experts' time.
Authority and directories
Accurate, consistent presence across the industry directories and citations that shape referrals, entity understanding, and the source pool AI answers are drawn from.
AI answer visibility
A defined prompt set sampled by service line and market, plus the entity, formatting and citation work that makes being named in a generated answer likelier.
Conversion and follow-up
The page-level and process-level decisions that determine whether a qualified reader ever becomes a qualified lead.
03Why professional services is different
Volume is the wrong target when deal value varies tenfold.
In most industries, a lead is a lead. In professional services, one engagement can be worth more than a hundred others, and a company can be busier than ever while its economics get worse. A program tuned for traffic will reliably find the cheapest possible visibility, which is almost never the visibility that matters.
This category also has an unusual competitive set. A company is not only competing with other companies; it is competing with national directories, marketplaces and lead sellers whose entire business is occupying the results page. Knowing where a company can realistically win — and where it should not spend — is most of the strategy.
Then there is the review constraint. Content that speaks credibly to a prospective client has to come from subject-matter experts who are billing. A process that ignores this produces either generic content nobody signs off on, or a backlog that stalls the program by month two.
We plan around these realities from the start rather than discovering them in the third month.
04Measurement
Reporting a decision-maker can act on.
We agree on the company's definition of the clients it actually wants before implementation begins, then instrument forms and calls against it. Reporting shows qualified leads by service line and by market, alongside the visibility that produced them.
Rankings and sessions still appear, because they are diagnostic. They are not the headline, and they are never presented as an outcome on their own.
Reporting also covers the surface that sits above the rankings: which of your commercial queries now return a generated answer, whether the company is cited in it, and how the sampled prompt set moved. That portion is labeled directional, because sampling is what the surface allows.
05Questions
Common questions about the work.
